The students also will feel comfortable because they can choose their own seat and in every class has AC (Air Conditioner), and in the back of the class, there are board information and space for student’s creativity. So, they can express their creativity in the classroom. Besides that, in every class have many kinds of books and magazines and a place for Learning Support Assistant Teacher. The class is enough and comfortable for ±35 students and LS Assistant Teacher.

The student should take off their shoes and put them in front of their classroom. The students forbid to use their phone and collect all of it to the LS. I’m teaching in lower secondary school, and there are two programs in this school, which are, SM Plus (Science-Math Concentration Program) and EP Plus (Special English Program). And in upper secondary school, there are 4 courses are taught,

·       ESc courses (courses prepare students for further study in engineering And technology science)

As written before, every class has space for learning support assistant teacher that always stays in class with a student. They are a graduate student teacher and their job is checking the student’s attendance, reporting the student’s activity to their parents, they’re a connector between students and parents, taking care of all students in a classroom, and help students to study and even translating.
4. Materials and other learning sources
In the English Program, the students will learn with a foreign teacher and Thai Teacher. English is one of a subject that they’re learning with both of them but of course in a different period. So, the books that will be used are different between English with a foreign teacher and English with a Thai teacher. Besides the book, teachers also need other references such as the internet and make a worksheet to support learning materials. Sometimes, Youtube really helped us to construct the material.
5. Measurement and evaluation system
Evaluation system in this school there is a mid-term semester and end-term semester test. Every teacher has their own evaluation. In English, the students also get a point (score) from worksheet, quiz, work group and plus point as their score. But officially, the students will be evaluated twice each semester for every subject. The teachers are responsibility for all the score that.
6. General Curriculum
The curriculum used by CRMS6 or Chiang Rai Municipality School 6 especially in English Program is Thai Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E. 2551 which started in 2008 until now. The Basic Education Core Curriculum is aimed at enhancing the capacity of all learners, who constitute the major force of the country, so as to attain balanced development in all respects—physical strength, knowledge, and morality. They will fully realize their commitment and responsibilities as Thai citizens as well as members of the world community. Adhering to a democratic form of government under a constitutional monarchy, they will be endowed with basic knowledge and essential skills and favorable attitude towards further education, livelihood, and lifelong learning. The learner-centered approach is therefore strongly advocated, based on the conviction that all are capable of learning and self-development to their highest potentiality.
7. Teaching plan (English)
Making a lesson plan is not an obligation of a teacher in here. My mentor said that professional teacher keeps their lesson plan on their mind. Actually, we need to construct our lesson before going to teach. The lesson plan that my mentor showed, is the simple version of a lesson plan which consists only 2-3 pages per meeting. It is totally different from Indonesia because in Indonesia we have complex lesson plan which consist of more than 10 pages and that’s for one topic. Here is my lesson plan that actually I construct by myself.

Teaching Practice

It is my turn to stand in front of the student and start to teach! Of course, I felt nervous but when I saw the student’s eyes and they greeted me warmly, I told myself, “I can do it”. I’m still kept encouraging myself that I can teach this week. Last week, I've substances by my mentor during the class. So, I’m ready teaching based my own lesson plan and some of the improvisation. Procedures of Teaching The method that I used is a conventional method. I used Power Point and videos as media during teaching process. Then, worksheets are needed just to testify do they understand about the materials or not. They are smart students even though they don’t know they tried to keep do on their assignments. They tried to finish all of the assignments that already gave to them. For the first time I came to the classroom, the students greeted warmly. I let them sit down and ask about their feelings today. To keep their concentration, I told them if I said hello they should say...

The day before I go

August 4th, 2019 For the first time in my life, I study abroad and it is also the first time to travel by plane. Thailand is the first country that I have ever visited in my life, to be exactly in Chiang Rai Province. Everything in my head made me felt worried about anything. Firstly, it is about what am I to do in there? Absolutely to learn more about teaching, English for sure. No matter what happen, keep learning. Learn everything in there, whether is teaching style from every teachers or even Thai’s culture. Actually the last question will be the same, where can I find the mosque to pray for every Friday or how can I survive in there? That’s already a never ending questions because we worried about the food that’s actually we can’t eat but we try to learn more about how to ask someone where the Halal food restaurant around us. It is all about the questions, how do I have to survive in other country?
